Royal Connect/WOW Phone - Allure?

Does the Allure still have the Royal Connect/WOW Phone available for rental throughout the cruise? Another cruise line has a cool app that does virtually the same thing but you keep your own iPhone (and just pay for the app). Just curious if the old (first generation iPhone) Royal Connect/WOW phones are still in existence or if there has been some sort of technology upgrade there...

Same iPhone 4 technology, no changes. Some people report good luck with the phones and others say they are not worth it.
