BaliChic Posted November 24, 2004 #27 Share Posted November 24, 2004 Hi everyone, I'm 14 years old and am going on a cruise in two months, January 8th on the Constellation. The last two cruises of mine were on ships Explorer of the Seas and Golden Princess and these were during peak times (summer & spring break) I'm worried there wont be anyone around my age on this upcoming cruise. This is my first time as a teen on Celebrity, and i'd love to hear more about its program and whether there will be some kids during the 'quiet times.' any information would be great! thank you. nisurc Posted November 24, 2004 #28 Share Posted November 24, 2004 [quote name='Shangrilq wrote: Unfortunately, that is not really possible anymore as so many people take their kids out of school for whatever reason?[/QUOTE'] It may not be that people are taking their children out of school. There are many homeschooled children and some school districts run a modified or year round schedule. Our schools run a modfied schedule so my DD is out when others around the country aren't. There are very few times to actually cruise when a family won't be sailing with you. We have noticed that on longer cruises, other than at holiday times, there are fewer children. Our 14 night Panama had only about 15 children. I expect our Easter Cruise to have many more than that.
