Dock Location in San Juan

We are arriving in San Juan on the Explorer of the Seas on 12/30. I am curious whether the ship docks near Old San Juan and we can walk into the city. I saw a post on another site saying some RCCL ships dock on the other side of the harbor and nothing is walkable. Does anyone have infromation on the location? Thanks.

Port calls like yours are docked in Old San Juan. Cruises embarking from San Juan are at the Pan Am Pier.
