tellingtj Posted April 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2015 My brother and I are leaving on the Carnival Paradise on April 27th...We have both cruised once before, but have never done excursions before! We don't want to pull the trigger on $100 excursions, but don't know where to begin looking for "Non-Carnival" excursions! Can any Cruisers give us some help? We have stops at Cayman Islands and Cozumel! We prefer non-beach things, but open to options! Thanks in advance!!!!!
BlueHonu Posted April 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2015 Check the ports of call portion here. There r all kinds of things to do. We usually go to 7 mile beach on Grand Cayman. U can take a tour to see stingray city. Or just walk around. It is very safe there. Everything is clean. Cozemel we usually go to Paradise Beach. They have an awesome pool. $17 taxi ride each way. $3 entry fee. Coz is an great place to scuba dive. I did that in March. U can rent scooters, do a dune buggy tour, or go to an all inclusive resort. bags6490 Posted May 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2015 We like to rent a jeep from Avis in Grand Cayman and drive the island ourselves and explore. We usually end up at Rum Point. I agree, very safe and clean.
Jenhem31 Posted May 5, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2015 We rented a car in GC and drove all around. It was $100 I believe. Driving on thr opposite side of the road was interesting.
