Transportation from Miami port to Ft. Lauderdale airport

looking for ways to get to Fort Lauderdale Airport from Miami port. Also can I use luggage valet if we are flying out of Fll?

There are various shuttle companies that transport people from FLL to the Port of Miami. Costs range from about $15-25 per person.

 

Luggage valet? Are you talking about the porters who assist with bags at the terminal? If so, yes you can use them. If you are talking about onboard check in, no. That is only available if you are using DCL transportation...and since DCL transportation doesn't get you to FLL........

 

You can also rent a car and drive yourself with drop off near Port of Miami. A cab costs almost $100, so that's generally not a good option

We just did this in February. I found the shuttle service here on Cruise Critic. Used QLS. You can set it up right on their website. It was very easy and they were very friendly and efficient. They actually called my cell phone in the morning while still on the ship to confirm and give pick up directions. Basically, you call them again after you clear customs and they tell you exactly where to wait for the driver. We were through so fast that the agent got an earlier van to us in less than 10 minutes. Then we went straight to Fort Lauderdale airport. Very easy. They don't charge you until that day but had our credit card info already on file which made it very easy. Just need cash to tip driver. Was very affordable for the four of us. Hope that helps.

Oh, luggage valet..I believe that depends on the cruise line and if your particular airline participates.

The QLS shared shuttle van was $13 pp and they have an enclosed trailer they put the luggage in for transport.
