Looking for excursion suggestions

When we arrive on ANTHEM OF THE SEAS to San Juan on April 22, 2016...we arrive at 3pm, departing at 10pm. This seems, to me, like a fairly non-ideal time!

To those of you with experience with this port (I have none), let me throw out what I'd like to be able to do, and perhaps you can weigh in with why I'm crazy, or perhaps how to do it. I am NOT opposed to a private driver/guide for just my wife and I. We want to get all we can out of our visit.

I read great things about El Yunque, and we always love a chance to see some of the "countryside". I'd also love to do a Rum Distillery tour. Is it possible, starting at 3, and returning to ship at 9:30, to do both? What's the best way, in your opinion, to make it happen? (Or, as I said, am I just crazy and need to get over it?)

Thanks for the help!
