Delivering flowers on board

Hi there! Does anyone know if Carnival allows flowers to be delivered on board at the cruise terminal? We are on an 8 day for Valentines day and I always get my other half purple roses. I know Carnival sells (expensive) roses on board but no purple ones...

I found this on Carnivals web site in the FAQ section:

"Flowers and Plants: Only permitted on board if ordered through Carnival’s Fun Shops or delivered by a florist in the port of embarkation but are not permitted to be taken off the ship in the United States, per the U.S Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) Agricultural Division."

We didn't have any problem taking flowers onboard. But once we left U.S. waters we could not disembark with them back into a U.S. port.
