Anyone been to Sosua Beach?

Looking for a pretty beach to relax at for the morning of our day in port. Sosua seems to look the nicest, hoping it will be pretty!

 

If anyone has been, what did you think? please post if you have other beach recommendations.

Bumping, I'm wondering the same thing. And curious if taking a taxi would be the only option in getting there as well!

We did the New Years cruise on the Sunshine and Amber Cove was one of our ports of call. We did a private excursion with Marysol that was supposed to allow us time to go to Sosua Beach and Snorkeling but due to ship arriving late, they drove us to Sosua Beach to get on a Yacht to go snorkeling but no time for the beach. Very disappointing.

 

However I will give you 3 observations

1) Sosua Beach looks very nice and surrounded by nice hotels and villas.

2) it takes about an hour to get from the pier to Sosua Beach (crazy traffic, crazy drivers and narrow roads)

3) the beach gets very very busy and packed. At least on the day we were there it was.
