Freeport - Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach Resort

Has any one purchased a day pass to Freeport - Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach Resort? It's kind of pricey plus a 25 minute taxi drive that costs another $25+. I'm not sure it's worth it.

My husband went there on our honeymoon cruise in 2009. At that time it was a carnival excursion. It was awful! We ended up taking a taxi back to the ship early. After filing a complaint we were refunded half of our money. I would not recommend it.
