marcyjane Posted June 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2016 We have booked Allure for April 2017 in Central Park Balcony on the 11th deck. Can anyone tell me if they have stayed in on of these and how it was. Also RCI agent when we book also said we got a free bottle of wine and lunch of 2. We are not drinker's does anyone know a contact number that I can call to see if the bottle of wine can be changed to something else. The RCI booking agent I asked said I would have to contact someone else but they didn't know who or a email or number. Thanks in advance for you time

Central Park is VERY quiet with bird singing (both real and recorded). We really like the "inside" balconies. You will like it a lot. When you close and lock that balcony door, you hear nothing! I don't have an answer to the wine situation. You could either call Royal directly or maybe work something out with your cabin steward. chanat Posted June 9, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2016 We stayed in a CP balcony , on deck 11,on Allure, last cruise in Feb. and really enjoyed it. We got wine in our cabin also from RC since we have sailed so much with them. We gave it to our cabin steward who seemed to be delighted with it. Not sure how you could exchange it for something else. We will sail Allure again in Dec. with a pretty large group and thought we wouldn't spend as much time in cabin so decided to save the money and go with an inside room, which we haven't done in yrs. there is so much to do on these huge ships you really aren't in your cabin that much. Jmmusings Posted June 9, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2016 Was just in a cp balcony in May it was very nice. We were by the elevator and afraid it would be noisy. But we heard nothing in the cabin. It was nice sitting out there on Sea days and in the evening. But during port days it was rather warm.
