Best place for souvenir trinket shopping

We are looking to get a few souvenirs, especially things like beach towels, shirts, postcards, etc. Where is the best place to go for some cheap souvenirs and trinkets? Is there a shopping bazaar or flea market?

 

We don't want to spend a lot of time shopping and would appreciate any suggestions. Approximate cost of t-shirts and beach towels would be great if anyone has an idea of what the average price range is.

Cheap is a relative term here in Barbados.. not much is cheap, in monetary terms.

 

If you don't want to go to far from the port, I would suggest Pelican Village. It's a crafts market mainly with some nice local crafts.. might be more expensive than you want but its worth it. Medford Mahogony has some nice pieces made from Mahogony. Earthworks Pottery has some great items as well.

 

You could also go into Bridgetown as well, as it's not to far from the port either. Beach towels etc are imported so not really worth it. T-shirts as well, but you might find some that are nice with Barbados stuff on them.
