Formal Attire on the Grand

Just MTCW as I did a lot of reading here regarding this topic before we left for our first cruise last week ...

From my perspective, anything goes. I brought 2 cocktail dresses and hubby rented a tux but we saw everything from button-down shirts w/no tie on the men and pant suits on the gals to full length gowns -- and everyone looked nice! Go with whatever makes you comfortable and don't worry about what anyone else thinks. There is such variety that you will fit in no matter what you wear (although I would pass on the jeans). While I enjoyed playing dress-up, I understand some folks might not be comfortable doing so. I paid little attention to what each person was wearing but DID notice all of the smiles as everyone seemed to be having such a great time regardless -- and that put it all in perspective for me! :) Enjoy!
