Car Seats for Shore Excursions?

We'll be cruising on the Dawn at the end of April. Are there any places on the Eastern Caribbean itinerary (St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Tortola, Samana, DR, San Juan) that require car seats for infants and/or toddlers? We're hoping to take the kids to the beach at a few of these places. Not sure if we need to take the car seats with us or if the kids can just sit in the buses/taxis without car seats.

Hi, We just got off the Star in March and our boys are 3 and 5. We did not bring carseats with. They just sat with us on the buses. I think they felt like big boys that way. Have a great time!!!!!
