ldadar Posted April 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2006 I'm going with family to Progresso in November. 18 of us have already booked on Carrnival and we might have several more. What kind of deals can we get for excursions with a group that large? We'd like to do Dz tour or other ruins, probably. I'd appreciate any advice. ldadar Posted April 13, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted April 13, 2006 Perhaps I should post on another forum? Anyone set up a tour for a large group? If we go with Carnival, it's almost $1000. Surely we can get a better deal, but with such a large group, I want to have a plan in place before we go. I haven't yet contacted Carnival. Perhaps they would give us a break. I looked at the above websites and emailed one, but they haven't responded. TIA

crazybill Posted May 28, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 28, 2006 Sorry that I will not be in the Yucatan in November.(I own a beach house not far from Progreso) or I would invite you over and show you around. You will love it, though... and Yucatan is great. I have a website with some links at http://www.drennon.org/yucatan/thingstodo.html Those of us that are expats in the area have a message board at http://www.meridainsider.com. Come visit. cptmking Posted December 7, 2006 #6 Share Posted December 7, 2006 Hey Crazy Bill - we will be there in December (Carnival diversion) this will be our 3rd time back. We did the Diz ruins the first year, the Reef Club last year and we are looking for something new this year. Any suggestions? I saw something about dune buggies but cannot find a vendor. No real interest to shop or see ruins. Hope to hear from you! Mike
