MszKitty Posted April 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2006 I don't have prior experience with a hump cabin...but something to think about....On deck 6 you have public rooms below you (it looks like the Champagne Bar and the Book Nook)...which means you could hear more noise (I'm not saying it is noisey, but its possible you could hear more noise). While on deck 7, you have cabins above and below you..which means less noise. Which one offers more privacy?...not sure. I would say they are pretty much equal. I am also on the June 18 sailing and when I made the reservations (back on the first day they opened it up to C&A members) I booked our 3 cabins on the hump on deck 6. When I found out there were public rooms below us, I wanted to change them to deck 7. But, by that time, we couldn't get all 3 roooms together on the hump. So, I'm chosing to stay where we are at..on deck 6 middle of the hump. But if it was just me & hubby travelling alone, and I had the opportunity to change to deck 7, I would. And speaking of going on June 18 sailing...come join our roll call!! The link is in my signature. And if you don't change to deck 7, we will be your neighbors on this cruise! And if you do, we will be your above neighbors!:D
