I wanted to get my kids a gift basket like I did on our Disney cruise but there are no places that deliver to Bayonne. I was wondering if anyone has made their kids a gift basket or something similar for their cruise. I have ordered an adorable Gund bear already. I had seen a CC members pictures of their vacation with their stuffed bear where they placed the bear in different places and took pictures. They even had the captain and other crew members holding the bear in the pictures. I thought this would be fun for my girls. But aside from the bear I would like to take some things and didn't want to do the usual coloring books, etc. My girls are 9 and 5. Thanks! miami Posted September 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2006 I know you said you didn't want coloring books but what about a sketch pad if they like to draw and some colored pencils? They could draw pictures of the ship, their room, the excursions, etc. Be sure they sign and date them! Kids take some great pictures, so I would add a camera or two. Some small travel games. A neat insulated cup to carry their drinks. 3. A fun new beach towel and some sun block 4. Pool toys 5. Snorkel gear 6. A manicure/pedicure kit with cute new polish. 7. A new cover-up, bathing suit and/or hat 8. Disposable cameras (write your name, room # and mailing address on them incase they get lost.) 9. A lanyard for their Sail & Sign card 10.
