grayjoh Posted April 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2007 I would like to know if we book a wheelchair accessible suite (134) and this is subsequently required by handicapped passenger, what suite are we likely to be offered in its place? Has anyone had experience of this?
JaneBP Posted May 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2007 I would like to know if we book a wheelchair accessible suite (134) and this is subsequently required by handicapped passenger, what suite are we likely to be offered in its place? Has anyone had experience of this? When I have been onboard with someone in a wheelchair, they have been in either 06 or 05. I like the wheel chair accessible suites, but really, it would be nigh impossible to naviage in one of them if wheelchair-bound. There is a door sill into the bathroom and the rest of the proportions are the same as other suites. In addition, the elevators are quite small so ship navigation can be tricky. You probably won't get bumped.
Iamboatman Posted May 4, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2007 Regardless of whether wheelchair access is good or not so good, the fact is that you may be moved if there is a need for that particular suite.
