Coki or Sapphire

We just returned from caribbean princess. we decided to go to Sapphire Beach because we wanted to jet-ski. It was very pretty but lots of seaweed and very rocky. you definitely need water shoes. others on the ship said megan's was very nice, no rocks, no seaweed and they also could jet-ski there. St. Martin definitely had nicer beaches. we went to Little Divi Bay - just beautiful.

Shopping in St Thomas is some of the best in the Carribean!! There is EVERYTHING, but some of the specialties are electronics (cameras, watches, etc) JEWELRY, liquor (A Liter of Absolute for about 6.00us) and don't miss Mr Tablecloth - they sell linens like you've never seen. Be-u-tiful Christmas tablecloths ! Also remember, each person can return with 1 liter of liquor HOWEVER if you buy in a US Territory (St Thomas) you can have 4 liters per person. Take some home. It is a shopping paradise!

We usually shop half a day and spend our afternoon at Megan's Bay. It is a very pretty cove....maybe sometimes a bit too crowded (depending on how many cruise ships are in port). Another great spot not to miss is Mountain Top - the view is incredible and the serve Banana Daquairis (supposedly invented there). Megan's Bay serves an incredible drink called the Bushwacker!

Yes, Its on Main Street - I think the address is 6 Main Street. They have many linens but the place is PACKED with tablecloths - they are gorgeous and VERY reasonable. They all come with matching cloth napkins with corresponding embroidery or whatever. Be sure to know the measurement of your table before you go - they have every size in the world. They also have a web site at http://www.mrtablecloth-vi.com I believe. No, I'm not associated with them - just another linen lover! Just ask anyone on the street - they can direct you.
