smokin Posted September 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2007 Thinking of booking the Liberty for March 2008 This will be our first timie cruising with Carnival, Thought we would come on over & give Carnival a try. We are lookin at cabin 7417 and notice a area directly accros from that cabin that is blocked off and wonder what is there. We are a little concerned that this might be a service entry for staff and could be noisy. Any Thoughts on this cabin & ship Please advise. We are a little concerned that this might be a service entry for staff and could be noisy. Any Thoughts on this cabin & ship Please advise. We were on the Liberty in August and had two inside staterooms on the Panorama Deck - #'s 1048 and 1052. The large area behind our cabin was where the stewards worked - so it was fairly noisy during the day. It started around 8:00am and went until about 11:00pm. Since you are in an ouside stateroom - the noise will be minimal. The area you refer to is most likely a storage area for towels and sheets - just like a similar area on Panorama Deck. We saw stewards accessing the area during the daytime - never after 8:00pm. Hope this helps! Enjoy the Liberty - it's a tremendous ship. And don't miss Dunns River Falls in Ocho Rios - if you've never been there.
