Taxi's and Snorkling @ PB?

We will be stopping in Cozumel during our cruise in March. I've heard good things about PB, but was wondering if there is snorkling there?

Also, once a taxi drops you off...how are you ensured to get back to port? Are there taxis waiting and available?

Any tips? We're excited and nervous, but want to do this right right.

Thanks!

You're not going to find great snorkeling at any natural sand beaches, esp. after the 2 CAT 4 hurricanes did their damage in 2005. You'll still see some fish and soft coral formations but the good stuff will be found offshore by boat excursion. A beginner will still have fun, but if you're more experienced you'll want to check out Columbia and Palancar reefs.

Loads of taxis waiting here to take you back to your pier, no worries!:D
