California4Me4Ever Posted January 27, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2008 I'm curious--what's a fish extender? I thought this might be thread about what they do to extend the freshness of fish in the galley! So now I really want to know what it is! Happy Sails! NC66 Posted January 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2008 Here is a picture of a "fish extender". You hang it on the metal fish decor right outside your stateroom door. It can be used for mail delivered by Guest Services, for notes to each other, or most people use it for little gifts to one another (go to the cruise meet thread and find the date of your cruise to chat with folks going on the same cruise as you are). We didn't have one of these for our 1st cruise this past Nov. but I'm planning on having one for 2nd cruise this coming Nov. I've already starting buying gifts to give! Hope this helps! California4Me4Ever Posted January 27, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2008 Thanks! My DD Will love this! Sort of like trick-or-treat! I really love all of the great ideas people have! My favorite so far is a toss up between the Micky Tie-Dye shirts and the door signs. Happy Sails!

The tye dye tshirts sounds really cute. dont think dh will go for those! We all had on Mickey tshirts when we boarded, then for the semi formal night pictures, we all wore our Steeler jerseys! with the white background they turned out so awesome!! 4peaches Posted January 30, 2008 #9 Share Posted January 30, 2008 I have several questions. First, why is it called a "fish extender" and second, do you fill it a little bit daily, or all at once? I would think that mischeivous kids would empty it in a minute (like what happened to me at Halloween one year when I accidently left the bowl outside the door full of candy). Also, are the items for everyone, or only for those who are part of their group or those that have their own extenders?
