Glory - best deck for oceanview

Which is the best deck for oceanview rooms?

 

We found a good deal (i think) for an oceanview room on the lower Riviera deck. I see the other deck for oceanview rooms is one higher, on the Main deck. Are those rooms nicer, or the views nice or facilities on the main deck nicer? 6B (main) vs 6A (riviera).

 

I also see that our cabin can be right across from Elevators, inside cabins or just a wall i think. Which would be less noisy?

I don't think it really matters much which deck you are on, although I have ONLY been on Riviera so far. I'll find out in 2 weeks because I'll be on Main deck on the Valor. We enjoyed our cabins (inside first cruise; oceanview second cruise) on Riviera very much. I just don't think being up 1 deck higher would make much of a difference.

 

I think a cabin right by the elevator would be pretty noisy ~ might want to avoid that if possible.

The cabins will be exactly the same. I think if I were sailing OV I would want to be lower down. Dunno.

So was it worth it for you to pay the extra $150 or so to get an oceanview from an inside?
