Has the upgrade fairy struck? Carnival Liberty

Sailing on the Liberty in January, this is our first time on carnival and first time booking a balcony cabin. Had booked a 8A Guarantee and just been allocated an 8E on the Panorama deck Cabin 1057. Is this a reasonable cabin and area and can I say after 5 cruises the fairy has at last visited.

good deck one floor from lido and food. also on the liberty sailing that i am on in january for past guests 8a gets upgraded to 8c so i would say an 8e is a nice upgrade. bout $70 a person.

Any upgrade is a good one! We called last night and got upgraded from an OV to an 8E Balcony (1030) on our Liberty cruise on Nov 29th! AND, we got an OBC of $40! :D

good deck one floor from lido and food. also on the liberty sailing that i am on in january for past guests 8a gets upgraded to 8c so i would say an 8e is a nice upgrade. bout $70 a person.
