Dzul ha - do they have snorkel equipment there

Can you rent snorkel equipment at dzul ha? Is the snorkeling good here now? How is it for beginner snorkelers?

rental yes...we were there in August. there is a current here just follow the map at the rental shack and it is a smooth snorkel. If you are truly beginners and not good swimmers you may consider Chakanaab. Dzul-Ha is adjacent to the Money Bar with outside showers and clean restrooms. Just show a little patronage and feel free to the beach chairs etc.

Palmar Beach club is the place to go, in that area, and they rent gear.. If the taxi driver looks at you sideways, and says "Que?", just say Dzul Ha! :)
