Question for ya Nitro!

Hi Nitrogenaddict,

 

My family is going to be in Costa Maya/ Mahahual on December 9th. We are planning at spending the day at one of the beaches with food/spirits and massage. Our son is 2 years old.

 

now my questions :D

 

1) Is their any beach toys (shovel, bucket, etc.) available for purchase in Mahahual? If not, we were thinking of bringing some and leaving them for the local children.

 

2) We would like to purchase some whole Vanilla Beans. Any chance you might know where to get some and approximately the cost on this?

 

3) Any idea how long it takes to get to the Monkey Farm via taxi and how are the roads?

1) No,no beach toys bring your own. The kids here would love them afterwards.

 

2) Whole Vanilla Beans ??? I do not know I will have to ask about that one. Will let you know.

 

3) The monkey farm is approximately 15 to 20 minutes away.The road is black top till you turn off for the half mile to the farm The kids will enjoy this. Like everything keep the children under control as these animals are usually friendly but are still not domesticated.

 

A beer would be good if we get to meet, but I doubt it. I will probably be underwater at the time you are here. You never know though.
