DonnaB Posted March 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2009 Whoops, the parents asked and I couldn't answer and Regent seems to be busy, busy. Do the handicap rooms (918 Mariner) have a bathroom and shower doors or are they curtains? I don't know if they are looking for one over the other, but now that I am thinking about it, I would prefer the door, not that it is a deal buster. Thanks again for the help. jhp Posted March 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2009 I once sailed with a person who ended up in a handicapped room, and there was no shower door. Things may have changed since then, but it seems logical to me not to have a door, which would restrict access.
mp8shnt Posted March 28, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2009 The person JHP was referring to was me. I had a handicapped room on Mariner but am not handicapped. The room was a different configuration - you walked into the living room and the bedroom was next to the balcony. The bathroom did not have a tub - only a shower with a curtain that let water into the floor of the bathroom - I just put a few towels down to trap the water.
