I recently acquired a vintage ashtray from the maiden voyage of the Moore-McCormack line's S.S. Brasil.

It may have some nostalgic value to someone out there.

I have enclosed a few photos of the ashtray. It is in nice shape.

The engraving on the back is as follows:

BOTTOM CENTER

925 Sterliing Silver

Industris Argentina

ON THE PERIMATER OF THE BOTTOM

On the occasion of the launching of the S.S. Brasil - Moore-McCormac,

(There are two stars on either side of the date.

Please let me know if you are interested.
