Currency

We are traveling soon on the PG for a 10 day. We always like to have some "home" currency for tips, incidentals, taxis, etc. before we go. Our relationship with one of our US banks allow us to do so at virtually no load or cost. What is the preferred currency in FP?? The XPF, Euros, or good old dollars?? Thanks to all in advance!:)

Good old US dollars are accepted but you'll get a better deal using XPF (assuming they don't cost you much to get in the first place).
