tabber Posted January 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Hello from Kansas, This will be our first time on the PG and we will be flying from Bora Bora on the day of embarkation (April 20th). We are scheduled to arrive at the Papeete airport at 12:50 in the afternoon and we are told we cannot board the PG until 3:00. With such a short time from arrival to boarding, it doesn't make sense to get a day room at a hotel. Assuming that the flight is on time, is there a lounge or somewhere to wait from the time we pick up our luggage from the BB flight until we get our transfer to the PG? Or is there a receiving lounge where we board the PG? Advice from those who have been there and done that will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. zoey4545 Posted January 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Just go to the ship, they will hold your luggage there and then it will be sent to your cabin. Make sure all your luggage is locked and all your paul/g tags are on.Nothing to worry about. Very safe. Just take your purse, and then walk across the street to all the really nice shops, the open market, great things to see. Before you know it, it' time to get on the ship. Have a great time!:) You will love the Paul G, we go every year and NEVER get tired of it. Zoey4545
tabber Posted January 28, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted January 28, 2013 Thank you so much for your advice, Zoey4545. We'll love doing what you suggest!!! I am thinking that the shops and open market you mention must be the ones that familygoboston pictured in her excellent review. It is exciting just thinking about being in the midst of it all. Thanks again!
