Where to meet for a cup of coffee at Boston Cruiseport?

I would like to meet a friend for a cup of coffee after being done with our shore excursion (booked through the ship). Are there any coffee shops or restaurants at the Boston Cruiseport?

What is the closest location to the ship that I can meet him?

Thanks,

Rada.

The cruise port is called the Black Falcon Terminal. There is a coffee shop called "Au Bon Pain" that is open Mondays through Fridays 6 am to 6 pm.

Official address is 21 Drydock Avenue, Boston 02210.

There is also a restaurant called the "Drydock Cafe" that is open for breakfast, lunch, and just recently dinner. Again, they service the Monday to Friday business crowd. Official address is 7 Drydock Avenue,

Boson 02210. Neither is particularly fancy but the food and location are convenient. Those are the closest to the actual gangways. The gangways/entrance to the ships are on Black Falcon Avenue. Drydock Avenue runs parallel -- one big old white warehouse separates the two.

On the weekend you could try the Seaport Hotel, which is about an 8 to 10 minute walk from the ship.
