getting back to lga?

i posted on the united states thread also to get some help. im sure we will be short of money after the cruise :D and am wondering what would be the safest and least expensive way to get back to lga for our 1:30 flight home. the prices i see for taxi's and car rentals seems so high too me. im thinking about a bus or shuttle but im not sure about that because i have never been to new york so im totally in the dark. how about the ship transfer to get too the airport. any good things to say about that???
