Silver Line, Taxi ???

DH and I are going out of Black Falcon pier on RCCL Jewel of the Seas Oct 23. I called the hotel we're staying at (Seaport Hotel) to ask the best means of transport. She said to take the Silver Line to the hotel, then a taxi to the pier. For those who know, is this the best plan of attack? Also, since I'm a little OCD, what would my transportation costs be roughly (hotel, pier, back to airport)? I just like to know how much cash to carry. Also, in taking the Silver Line - do people lug on their luggage that one takes on a cruise? TIA :)

According to my daughter, who lives in Boston, and I quote:

The Silver Line S2 goes right by Falcon and they don't need a cab,,,,they can take a cab directly from the hotel for roughly $5 or the Silver Line is $1.25

Thank you Susan in Maine (and your daughter too)! We thought about taking the Silver Line to the hotel, then a cab to the pier and then I guess a cab again for the ride back to the airport when we get off the ship. I was having a hard time thinking about lugging my luggage on a bus system. But, if the masses do it, by darn, I can too!!! Thanks again :)
