grantime Posted January 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2013 It is hard to know what is the best beach to go to . I hear some have alot of seaweed. Are the beaches free and does bus take and pick up? What is the bus fair?
mn_isla_girl Posted January 10, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2013 I cannot say it's the 'best' beach in Aruba but I visited Eagle beach last month and it was beautiful. Took the bus for $2.30 each way. No sea weed. Beach is free, there are loungers for rent as well as food/drinks and watersport rentals. I wouldn't recommend this beach for snorkeling, probably not much to see since it's just all sand.

Arubalisa Posted January 10, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Seaweed can be found just about anywhere on a beach. If there is someone out cleaning it up at dawn you won't see it. In numerous trips to the island we have seen seaweed at all 3 of the beaches we have frequented. Having said that, it will truly depend upon what type of experience you are looking for. If you want watersports, food, bars and activities at your fingertips, look at Palm beach. If you want a less lively beach with less amenities, research the threads here on Eagle beach. Palm beach is calm for the most part. Eagle beach, especially in winter can have some waves. For little children I definitely suggest Palm beach.
