hondorner Posted October 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2011 Webinar at 8 PM EDT Thursday, Oct 27. Register by clicking https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/623140968 For those who are not sure, a "webinar" is like a seminar on the web. In some cases your microphone is enabled and you can participate; in the case of Great American Steamboat's first webinar, microphones were disabled and all you had to do was listen to Tim. There is a menu at the side of your screen that includes a place to type in questions for Tim. On the first webinar, he spoke for about a half hour and answered questions in the second half. Registration involves name, address, phone number and email address. You receive an email with a special link just for you. Click that 5 to 10 minutes early on Thursday evening and you will hear an operator counting down the time until the event begins. I found the first one very interesting, and will try not to miss any, to keep up with progress on the American Queen.
