phl2011 Posted November 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2011 After reading posts and searching online, I noticed many recommended a snorkeling tour to Palancar Reef and Columbia Reef. Any recommendation on which tour company to go with? Some tour said you'd get 45 minutes at a site, do you really get enough time to swim around? Last time, when we did our snorkeling tour at Bahama. I felt we have only about 10 - 15 minutes in the water before heading back to the boat. Of course, that was our first time snorkeling and we are the last group to get into the water... I have also considered snorkeling out of shore, I am thinking that probably won't work well for us because it'd require long swim to reach work those deep water places... Esp. my wife and daughter can't swim very far. thank you for any suggestion.

truchattycathy Posted December 19, 2011 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2011 Look at Eagle Ray Divers. They have two and three reef snorkel tours. Chellie is very helpful.
volive Posted December 19, 2011 #4 Share Posted December 19, 2011 I 2nd Cathy. I can't stand those large groups were you have to take turns. Eagle Ray Divers is a small outfit. Usually the people on the boat determine when they get back on because of fatigue. lol I've never felt rushed with Eagle Ray and they will put a bilingual guide in the water with you, if you choose to follow him around, he will point out ALL sorts of neat stuff you would normally miss.
