Melbourne Australia-more cruise ships please

Come on P & O Australia. How about a ship to call Melbourne home. Having Pacific Pearl for a few months is not enough for a city of 4 million. We are starved of cruise ships with only Dawn Princess form November to April. :)

They tried basing Pacific Sky in Melbourne and it wasn't popular. Melbourne is too far south to make cruises to the Island's viable - 4 days each way just to get to Noumea makes for long and therefore expensive, cruises. NZ's a better bet from Melbourne, but there's only so many cruises to NZ they can sell, especially as you can really only do NZ in Summer and there's already an excess of cruises to NZ during the summer months with all the US ships down here doing them.
