airport transportation in NY

I'm new at this and was wondering if I should prearrange transportation to the airport when I arrive in NY on the Queen Mary2. OR will ample transportation be available.

There will be cabs and car services available, Cunard will also offer a bus transfer. Personally I always use Arecibo Cars on (718) 783-6465 http://www.arecibocc.com/ .

Call tham about 15 minutes before you need them, tell them you are at Pier 12, assuming that you dock at Red Hook and they will pick you up in a nice clean car. There are 3 meeting areas called 1 to 3 and just select one of them and look out for the sign in the car.

I agree with Arecibo Cars. They are great and we've used them the two times we sailed into NYC. It's a great recommendation.
