MiataKath Posted August 31, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2005 Hi, To answer your question, yes. There are two ways of doing this: usually on board the ship at one of the religious services offered, the minister/priest/etc. does a "mass renewal" of wedding vows. This is conducted as part of the religious observance at that time. Or in the alternative, you can do what, in fact we did to celebrate our 25th Anniversary this past Feb. on board the Summit. We arranged through Celebrity Special Services Dept. for a private Vow Renewal Ceremony that was held in the Michael's Club in the late afternoon of the first formal night at sea. Invitations were sent to all of our tablemates who attended this special event. A Cocktail Party was arranged after the ceremony where champagne was served as well as hot and cold canapes. The ceremony itself was conducted by the priest on board our cruise who had met with us shortly before the ceremony. The ship's photographer also was provided and he took many photos of us individually as well as group shots and candids as well. What made this so special and well worth the $$, was that we had the great good fortune of meeting all of our tablemates beforehand while on the Cruise Critic website for our particular cruise. We felt as if we had known these wonderful people all of our lives. In fact, we are cruising again with one couple in Feb. 06 on the Galaxy and keep in touch with the others in our group even to this day. I would be happy to answer any questions/etc. you may have. Feel free to ask. Best wishes! Don and Kathie
