Don't overlook Cunard's Queen Mary 2. While not a "big band" cruise, there is ballroom/swing dancing every night in the largest ballroom at sea. On transatlantic crossing there are also two afternoon tea dances.

The music tends to be mostly foxtrot, swing and cha-chas, but they do throw in a few rhumbas, waltzes and quicksteps each night. There is also strict tempo recorded music playing during the band breaks.

I am on this cruise! Nice to know. Now all I need is a dance partner, since I am going solo. Thank you for this.

Though not exclusive to Big Band, JazzFest at Sea does a good job of jazz music from the '20's to '40's.

By the way, I'm not Stewart Chiron "The Cruise Guy". He seems to think everyone here assumes I am him. At least I guess that's what he thinks, since he's complaining about trademark infringement and the only way that's possible is if you think I am him and using this for commercial purposes.

We are already booked on a late April transatlantic or we would definitely book this one. Have been on several with Harry James. And we love the dancing

It would be great to have this info more than a year out as I need to book vacation well in advance due to my job. Big Bands would be awesome, just don't ask me to do any dancing it would distract from the fine music
