Eze or St. Paul de Vence?

Our private tour from Cannes is supposed to include both of these towns, but if we were to pass on one of them in favor of more time spent in Nice or Monte Carlo, which would you choose to skip?

There is a huge thread on his same question on this board if you do a search..the pick was always go to St. Paul as a hint,but there is more info in the thread. I am sure you will get a lot of opinions as well.

I'd vote for St. Paul!! A lovely, lovely town with interesting stores, nice cafe's/restaurants, suprising art displays, and the most beautiful cemetery in the world!! Plus much easier to walk than Eze!!!!

I liked it much better. More to do and more shops and usually less people.

There are a few issues here. Geographically, Eze Village works very well for those visiting both Nice and Monte Carlo. But having been to both places (many times) we would vote to go to St Paul de Vence every time. Eze does offer a great view of the sea, but St Paul de Vence has it all over Eze when it comes to shops, art galleries, and a diverse group of restaurants/cafes.
