New orleans-b2b on different ships

We are planning on 2 weeks of cruising; one week on Carnival and the second week on NCL. My question is in regards to parking and getting to the NCL terminal, with our luggage, from the Carnival terminal. My husband and I both have mobility issues and the car has handicap plates. We both can walk, he with the aid of a walking stick, but we are unable to walk long distances.

1. Where should we park?

2. Will we have to move the car?

3. Shuttle or taxi between terminals?
