2 hotels thoughts?

found 2 hotels they seem reasonable, wonder what thoughts here about them.

I have considered location for both, want something near things.

Quality Inn and Suites airport/cruise port south or

Sleep Inn ft.lauderdale airport

I am travelling with my 17 yr old son and he doesn't care if we go to the beach,but taking a cab places might be expensive. We are coming in the day before the cruise, which is the start of march break for most Canadians.

The Sleep Inn used to be the most commonly recommended budget-priced motel near Port Everglades. There is a Walgreens next door, but the supermarket and restaurants that were across the street have relocated to a new plaza about a half mile away. Combine that with no longer being much lower priced than better located properties and it has fallen a bit out of favor on here. However if you can handle a little over a mile walk you can visit Hollywood beach.

So if the Quality Inn on Stirling Rd (I assume that is the location you found) is the same price I would stay there. Shorter ride from airport and to port, plenty of dining and shopping right behind the hotel. There is also a brand new sister hotel Comfort Suites Ft Lauderdale Airport South just down the street you may be able to find a similar price for.
