Rio Tour Guides

Hello People,

Can anyone recommend tour companies in Rio that they have used to show us around Rio for 1 to 2 days?

I've heard stories that Rio is not safe and my concern is that I want to use a reputable company to show us around Rio.

She picked us up at the airport to go to the hotel, and was nice enough to stop at a store to buy some drinks and snacks (we were in Rio for 3 days prior to the cruise) instead of that over-priced room minibar. She also made us a reservation at a Brazilian Steak House

Two days later, she took us on an amazing city tour. I don't quite know how she did it, but, we went to the head of the line at Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf.

Any/all officially registered (with the city agency) Rio guides have the right/privilege of doing this. No magic to it.
