Lanzarote - Manrique house and Jameos del Agua caves

Hello

Going to Lanzarote in September. Would love to visit the Manrique house and have been looking at a cruise line excursion including also the caves -Jameos del Agua. Wondered if anyone's been to either? I believe the caves have lots of steps. Fairly fit otherwise but does anyone know if the caves have plenty handrails? Due to a weakness in knee would need these to feel stable and safe. Really want to see the house. Also I believe these are only a few miles from Arrecife?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

We've been to both as part of a land-based holiday. In my opinion the attractions in Lanzarote are some of the best designed and organised of anywhere we've been in the world (thanks to Manrique). There are lots of steps at the caves but all have handrails and there are places to sit on different levels if you need to rest. I would highly recommend doing the excursion and you're right, it's not far from Arrecife. Take a look on Trip Advisor for reviews of the caves and some pictures
