Max011 Posted July 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2014 Hi All In the desciption of the entertainments for the Celebration on Thomson's web site, it mentions Zumba classes. Can anyone confirm that these are available, or is it the line / ballroom dancing etc ? Many thanks for your help:)
Huddersfieldtourist Posted July 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2014 Zumba tends to be run by the Showteam if there is anyone who is qualified to teach it. On the Dream the last showteam had two members who did Zumba on the Transatlantics Days at Sea two or three times but pretty sure they did not do it on the standard cruises as most passengers were off the ship during the day and too many other events on the one day at sea to include that too. This is the first time ( this winter ) there has been any Zumba to my knowledge and it only took place on the Dream.
Mower Lady Posted July 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 21, 2014 We were on a repositioning cruise on the Spirit in April which had 4 sea days. There was a Zumba class on those days run by a member of the show team. It was on a tiny stage so we got in each others way a bit, especially when the ship was rocking, good fun though.
