laundry in new orleans

we are doing a 19 day cruise from NO to Mexico for 7 days and then NO to Boston on a repositioning cruise. Are there any laundry facilities near the port area or where would we taxi to to do laundry before the 11 day leg?

The closest laundromat I can think of is in the 800 block of Bourbon Street (odd location).

It would be about a $10 cab ride from the cruise terminal.

It might be easier to just have your laundry done on the ship.

Sounds like a lot more trouble than it's worth. I'd suggest just having your laundry done on the ship. Most cruises run a "laundry special" on one day or another.
