Belfast/ Titanic exhibit

Recommended Posts

I understand that the Titanic exhibit opened today and the news reports look very interesting. Princess does not seem to have an excursion that encompasses this. Can anyone tell me if this is an easy "do" from where the CP will dock in August or refer me to a tour company that might assist us in visiting this?

Thanks

Here is all the information you need to know about the new Titanic Visitor Centre - you can book online for your preferred time slot -

It is not advisable to walk from where your ship docks (in an industrial area), but if you take the courtesy bus laid on by the Belfast Visitors Centre to Belfast city centre, it would be very easy for you to either use public transport or a taxi to the Titanic Centre (about 5-10 mins away), or you might wish to walk. (20-25 mins approx.)

The building and exhibits are very impressive - I attended a Gala dinner there last night, hosted by the Belfast Titanic Society. :D

I am a huge Titanic fan and have been following the building of this museum for months now. It just opened last weekend and looks absolutely stunning. It is on a small island/inlet about 1-2 miles from where the cruise ships dock. You'd need a quick taxi ride to get there.

You can follow it on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/#!/titanicbelfast

Or on its website at:

I'd suggest buying tickets online before you go since it will be quite the popular attraction:

Don't get this museum confused with other Titanic activities, such as the 2-hour narrated Titanic Walk in Belfast:

Hope this helps!
