Javilla Bus help, Please!

Can someone please tell me what the Javilla Public buses look like, that run between Puerto Plata and Santiago (we will be catching it at Amber Cover) and will they accept U.S. dollars when paying the fare? Thank you.

I'm curious about this too. I saw a post that says it is $5 to town from Amber Cove using Javilla Tours. Curious where the bus stop is located. We are considering a Carnival excursion for our January 2017 visit but want to consider all options.
