buggins0402 Posted November 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2015 It looks new...and I'm having problems checking my desired trains. We're leaving for Madrid Saturday...with a Monday train to Córdoba and then onto other cities. We are waiting to buy tickets in Spain because we are going to buy senior passes. The website is only showing one train Madrid to Córdoba on this following Monday?????
Rare Hlitner Posted November 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2015 Yep, these sites can drive anyone nutz :). But fear not. We looked at the Timetables and it shows 1 to 2 trains every hour. For example, there are trains leaving Madrid (for Cordobes) at 9, 9:15, 9:35, 10 and 11. They leave from the Puerto de Atocha station and all take about 1:40 - 2 hours. Instead of clicking on the buy ticket windows near the top of the page look down for the large "Timetables and Prices" icon. In your situation we would also wait until in Spain to purchase tickets. Hank Thanks Hank...the site looked totally different from just a few weeks ago when I copied the timetables (I was doing just a last minute check to see if the senior fares were still open at or about my desired train times). I panicked that there was a strike when I saw one train. I'll check again tomorrow at work (LOL -when I have more time). The website is totally changed...so I need to really sit down with it. i almost thought I stumbled on a Eurail clone..but it was in Spanish, the English welcome tab was in near upper right instead of high upper left. From what you saw on trains, it sounds like the same frequency that I was counting on ...thank you.
