Forts, Old Juan and Rain Forest

We would like to see all 3 of these but don't know how long we need. We plan on flying in 2 days before boarding our cruise. I'm not sure if we'd get there with anytime left to tour the first day. We would have the whole next day and maybe after the cruise if needed. We have 8 in our group including one senior. Should we take some tour or rent a van or what? Is walking the forts and Old San Juan doable or too much walking? What are the hikes in the Rain Forest like for a senior?

Our group of 8 ( including two senior and a toddler) took a tour with Carlos of Charlies Custom Tours a couple weeks ago while on our cruise during a short stop in San Juan. Absolutely the best tour ever. You would be able to do all of those things in a day with this tour. In fours hours, we saw so much of Puerto Rico, and had such a great time. If Carlos is available, he will help you customize the type of tour you want, based on everyone's needs. The limo/van "Charlie" is very comfortable and a great way to tour the island!
